The sun and the moon have always been the main gods of human idolaters, and they remain so as of today, even though their domination is hidden behind religious veils. However, the first one was placed by the Creator, as a symbol of his Holy and eternal Light, while letting the second one be a luminous substitute, representative of the intermediary religions before God, dedicated to the non-believers, and therefore, blind, who live lost in the darkness of the evil kingdom of this world, sharing with it the precarious temporality of it, as Cronos, established by the Maker.
Looking at the Sun causes physical blindness, therefore, his worshippers always fall before him at dawn or at sunset. The Moon is more adorable, because it lets itself be looked at all the time and enraptures the world allot more.
Malachi 4: 2 "But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall."
